A small country in the Balkans, one of the earlier nations to break off from Yugoslavia.
By the Dayton Agreement, the country is divided into three entities, two federal ones and a condominium between the two: the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (dominated by the Bosniaks and Croats), Republika Srpska (dominated by the Serbs), and the Brčko District respectively.
