black cat (elona)

Servant of Ehekatl of Luck, luck goddess of Elona, black cats can become party members as rewards for those who are faithful to the quirky goddess.

Appearance-wise, the black cat is... well, a black cat.

Amusingly, due to the way that the race of all servants is "servant" race, black cats have a humanoid form, size, and weight in game stats terms, even though they appear as cats. This means they can wear plate armor and wield sword and shield or use guns.

Their special ability is "licking" the items dropped by some of the creatures they kill, adding one extra magical effect to the randomly-generated equipment.

Black cats can either be male or female... although there's no particular difference unless they are evolved in Elona+, where male black cats become black lions, and female black cats become catgirls.

Like many characters in Elona, black cat is just a "class name" for the character, and they have a randomly generated personal name upon spawning. Hence, they would appear as something such as "Sezluk the black cat".
