A vegetable with a hollow inside that has numerous little seeds that should be removed before cooking or eating. Unlike spicy peppers like habanero and jalapeno, bell peppers are sweeter in flavor and come in many different colors. Sliced bell peppers are a popular topping for pizza.
Showing a character as disliking green bell peppers is a common way to suggest they're childish.
