The fallen angel of cunning plays fast and loose with his tongue, condemning the world at one moment, extolling the sanctity of life the next. Watch him run his fingers down the supple stem of a flower, snap it in twain, and waltz across a stage garnished with skydwellers' viscera. Look into the abyss of his heart, and what does one find? A feeling of insecure narcissism, or is it altruistic benevolence? Belial numbered among the first primal beasts to be brought into existence. Now a fallen angel known as the Serpent, he remains as devoted to his creator, Lucilius, as he was millennia ago. He instigated the Primarch rebellions as part of Lucilius' schemes. "000" reveals that his loyalties have carried over 2000 years, having used Lucifer's body to revive Lucilius to help the Astral finally witness the end of the world.
Belial was revealed as a Character Pass Season 1 DLC character in Granblue Fantasy Versus on December 14, 2019, as part of a villains pack alongside Beelzebub. He was later carried over to Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising, along with the other prior DLC characters.
