A short and airy baguette of Vietnamese origin. In English, it is used to specifically refer to Vietnamese sandwiches which are made using said bread, filled with julienned carrots and pickled radishes, sprigs of cilantro, and one's choice of meat and other veggies (akin to how a Cuban sandwich is referred to as a Cubano after 'pan Cubano').
