avs-36
The AVS-36 is a Soviet battle rifle chambered in 7.62×54mmR cartridge, designed by Sergei Simonov. It was used in limited quantity during early years of the World War II.
Compared to its semi-auto only successors like the SVT-38 it had prominently larger muzzle device and a single perforated metal heat shield on the top that covers its gas piston assembly.
