armored core grip
An unusual way of holding a game controller (particularly the DualShock) in which the user holds it backwards, with their thumbs on the bumpers and triggers, and ring fingers on the joysticks.
Spawned from the Japanese Armored Core fanbase, based on recurring jokes about the complex controls in the earlier games, which required players to hit many of the buttons simultaneously or in rapid succession.
