armageddon steel legion
Astra Militarum military faction in Warhammer 40K. Hailing from the highly industrialized Hive Planet of Armageddon, the Steel Legion are heavily mechanized, but unusually not due to a partnership with the Mechanicus. They have been heavily engaged against Orks since the arrival of a large Waagh against their planet, and have become very skilled in fighting against them. Visually, they tend to resemble World War Two era motorized forces.
