apocalypse now
A 1979 war movie by Francis Ford Coppola starring Martin Sheen, Marlon Brando and Robert Duvall.
An adaptation of the book Heart of Darkness, it updates the setting from 1890s Congo River to 1960s Vietnam, and focuses on a group of US Army Special Forces trying to terminate renegade Colonel Kurtz (played by Brando) "with extreme prejudice".
