aoqun

"Aoqun" is a type of Hanfu, where the upper garment is worn over the skirt, a style that emerged in China as early as the Spring and Autumn period and became more common during the Wei, Jin, and Northern and Southern dynasties, spreading to Japan during the Asuka period.

Ruqun is the opposite; hanfu where the top is worn under the skirt (tucked in).
