admiral hipper (cruiser)

Lead ship of the Hipper class heavy cruiser, the first (and only) German treaty type heavy cruisers. Laid down in 1935, launched in 1937, commissioned in 1939, and scuttled in 1945. Only one in the class to have straight stem and funnel cap.
