Ace Combat 04: Shattered Skies
A flight action game by Namco released for the Playstation 2 in 2001. The player takes on the role of the fighter pilot Mobius 1 during his service in the fictional Usean Continental War, a conflict that began after the Ulysses Disaster with asteroids striking Earth, along with the construction of a battery of large railguns called Stonehenge (originally meant to destroy asteroid fragments, but proved to be an exceptionally effective anti-aircraft weapon), that led to the war. The game's hand-drawn cutscenes focus on a young boy caught up in the occupation of his homeland and who forms an odd friendship with both a resistance fighter and an Erusean ace, Yellow 13.
