a better tomorrow
A Better Tomorrow (Chinese: 英雄本色; literally "True Colors of a Hero") is a 1986 Hong Kong movie which started the "Heroic Bloodshed" genre of action movies in Hong Kong. The movie launched the career of Chow Yun-Fat, whose role as the Triad gangster Mark Gor defined badass, and established John Woo as one of Hong Kong's leading action directors.
Its most famous and frequently parodied scene involves the protagonist Mark Gor lit his cigarette with a burning banknote.
