A live-action mascot character for the snack company Furuta, replacing 2017 campaign mascot Furutaman. Like her predecessor, she appears exclusively in idents and commercials running in the Nichi Asa Kids Time block.
Furutan's design is magical girl inspired, sporting a frilly white and pink skirt and white top. She wears Furuta's High Eight chocolates as hair ornaments for her pink twintails.
Due to being an animegao character, she's often depicted in fanart as being unnerving or off compared to other people. She is also associated with characters from PreCure (a fellow Nichi Asa magical girl staple) due to her magical girl looks.
