- strip #53 - strip #64: Kyouko heads to Kourindou to get some things for the temple. Marisa, always down to start a ruckus, convinces the yamabiko to get a megaphone. It goes about as well as you'd think.
- strip #80 - strip #93: Byakuren sees Lyrica Primsriver playing in the village for money and joins her, drawing a cheering crowd. The Prismrivers are invited to visit the temple, and Merlin begins to get unusually attached to Kyouko...

- strip #156 - strip #178: Marisa's off to the Scarlet Devil Mansion to steal some books, and drags Kyouko along after accidentally dropping a book she already stole on Kyouko. Marisa is caught easily but still causes trouble, and Patchouli, Koakuma, and Remilia take a liking to Kyouko.
- strip #201 - strip #239: Kyouko is knocked unconscious while writing sutras and wakes up in the Outside World. Can Maribel, Renko, Yumemi, and Chiyuri help her find her way home?
- strip #240 - strip #255: How do you cure a sick ghost? That's the mystery occupying Ichirin, after Murasa develops an illness that makes her unable to walk. Oh, and Murasa refuses to eat the bad-tasting medicine, which doesn't help.
- strip #258 - strip #278: Futo has gone missing; Tojiko goes out to look for her, but gets distracted by Kogasa, who is desperately trying to learn how to be scary. Kyouko gets introduced to the Buddhist-Taoist rivalry as Miko tries to get her to defect.
- strip #279 - strip #334: Merlin has kidnapped Kyouko! She REALLY wants to keep Kyouko as a pet. She's caught by Youmu and Lunasa, who now need to figure out how to clean up this mess (while feeding Yuyuko, of course). Nazrin and Lily set out to rescue Kyouko.
- strip #335 - strip #375: Kyouko catches Shou shopping in the village, and they run into Hina. Misfortune ensues. They all then visit the temple. More misfortune ensues. Kyouko then helps Hina return to Youkai Mountain. Even more misfortune ensues. Momiji and Nitori get involved. Friendship (and misfortune) ensues.
- strip #380 - strip #415: Alice is off to the Scarlet Devil Mansion for some tea with Patchouli. Kyouko tags along, wanting to thank Patchouli for giving her a book last time. Lily also joins... and gets noticed by a toy-obsessed childish vampire who you do not want to upset. Can Alice, Patchouli, Meiling, and Sakuya get Lily back without starting an incident?
- strip #424 - strip #466: There's a carnival happening in Chireiden, and Kisume wants to bring Kyouko and Kogasa along. Unfortunately the added weight causes Kisume's bucket to break, and Kyouko gets lost in the Sanzu. Can Yuugi help? Will Parsee help? And who's this mysterious third girl?
- strip #467 - strip #496: Jo'on begins her sentence in the temple, immediately chafes, and enlists Kyouko to help her escape. It doesn't go well. Will Jo'on learn to change?
- strip #497 - strip #529: Another carnival! Kyouko and Murasa go. Futo and Tojiko go. Komachi goes; she immediately gets into a rivalry with both Murasa and Futo. What will defuse these rivalries? Why, carnival games, of course!
- strip #530 - strip #553: Marisa's stealing books again, and Koakuma's on the chase. They take a yamabiko-shout-induced detour to the temple, and Koakuma lays her trap: a magic circle that changes peoples' size. Kyouko gets caught in it and shrinks. Everyone finds mini-Kyouko adorable, but Kyouko herself Does. Not. Like. It.
- strip #554 - strip #576: While sleeping together, Kyouko's and Lily's heads connect, causing their dreams to merge. Which is a problem for Kyouko, as Lily's dreams quickly turn into size-related nightmares. Yumemi and Chiyuri also return.
- strip #577 - strip #594: An excitable and lovestruck eagle steals first Kyouko's snack and then Kyouko herself, leading to a meeting with Kasen. And between the clingy pet and a certain lazy shinigami informant, Kasen's got a lot on her plate.
- strip #595 - strip #618: Jo'on is back, and she's ransacked Geidontei, turning it into a casino. Miyoi enlists Mamizou and Kyouko to help, and they better hurry, as Yuugi is also looking for Jo'on...
- strip #619 - ongoing: Kyouko's clothes get torn up in the wash, and Alice volunteers to make new ones for her. Which turns into an excursion to the forest, where they wind up playing dress-up with a reluctant forest jizou.
