A series of image illustrated and short paragraphs written by Ccccl. for the birthday celebration of Mr. Fox from Path to Nowhere, posted on 23rd of October 2023.
The story is between Mr. Fox, the female Chief, and a rainstorm.
The opening and ending image isn't uploaded to the pool, but the opening quoted the Bible verse from the Song of Solomon 8:6-8, while the ending slide quoted Corinthians 13:4-8 (NKJV).
The unincluded interlude (slide 24h/12, skit 03) has the following commentary, listed here for the sake of story consistency:

-"The hearing hasn't finished yet, within the courtroom, where he is stuck. Even though this is a reasonable choice out of conscious rationale, but he still sensed something deep down. He thinks that it is raining outside, so a rain started pouring down within his own heart without warning, surrounding him is the sound of downpour striking the windowsills, the rain has restrained him. He understands that sometimes the rain comes with a deep shade of darkness like this, but the sky is bright red. He understands that whilst in the rain, someone from afar can take him away because of his special ability. But he waits quietly, like an observing, schemeing fox. He is waiting for the judgement, as well as waiting for that person who can take him away from afar, no matter where to escape, as long as he can escape the rainy seasons of this city."
-“庭审还没有结束，他在法院之中，他被困住了。即使这是完全出于个人意志的合乎情理的选择，但他还是有一种隐约的感受。他觉得外面在下雨，所以他的内心也毫无征兆地下起来一场大雨，四面都是雨水敲打窗棂的声音，他被雨困住了。他明白有些时候雨幕就是这样阴沉的黑色，而天空是鲜明的红色。他明白在这样的雨水中会有人因为他异常的能力从很遥远的地方赶来将他带走。他只是静静地等待着，像一只沉默着的、蛰伏的狐狸，等待这次的判决，也等待那个不远万里而来的人能带他出去，随便逃离去哪都好，只要能逃出这座城市的漫长雨季。”
Epilogue has two more character dialogues, translates to:
"A boat stopped ashore the bleak river bank, that is the city you live in."
"My coat has been dirtied, it has been thrown on the banks, my emotions are beginning to tranquilise and merry."
