I didn't know how to tag what Ayesha is doing in post #1483556.
Well I found post #535515. Here it's tagged as flexing.
I'm going to add this to posture wiki then..
Okay, it looks just like the pose in post #1180553.
Thanks for the help.
Ah, that's tricky. post #1210048 explains it, actually.
In Japan, it's the "Guts!" pose.
In much of the rest of the world, it's called the bras d'honneur and it's a rude gesture.
Whether that means we should use a single tag because it's the same pose, or use two different tags depending on which meaning seems to be intended, I leave that to more experienced Danbooruians.
Hmm, I'm doing a Google Image search of the Guts pose, and I don't see the bras d'honneur anywhere. At least it narrowed it down to a specific term.
Hmmm, that's interesting. It appears that while there is a "Guts!" pose, and a "see my muscles and determination!" pose, the two aren't the same pose (contrary to the translation of post #1210048.) The "Guts!" pose is actually the victory pose popularized by the boxer "Guts" Ishimatsu (at least that seems to be the generally accepted origin.)
In any case, the "see-my-muscles-etc." pose does seem to be an established pose which happens to be pretty much... the bras d'honneur. One wonders how many awkward moments have happened because of that coincidence...
It's an unfortunate implication, considering that in post #1483556, she's just rarin' to do more work rather than insulting anyone.
