I know that SVGs are defined using coordinates, so it looks like it defines the shape of the icon so that it doesn't need to store the icon anywhere, i.e. it draws it on the fly...
Bonus points to anyone that can find a site that can take any icon, convert it to SVG, and then spit out something similar to the above, or at least the sequence of steps needed to accomplish it. This would allow almost any custom icon to be created.... (ツ)
