Tag suggestion: Touhou_(PC98)

I never actually said it but I'll say it now, I'm for the tag. If i wanted to only look for the cast of the PC-98 era, it wouldn't be practical for me to try and tag all the classics and character tags in my search bar. Not to mentoin with the frequency of fanarts for the PC-98 cast in the first place, I may miss one. Ofcourse there is also tag limits as well,even with a priviledged account.

Someone new coming into Touhou could search for all content from the past era nice and easily without worrying about missing any of the characters.

Ofcourse I do realize we'll have to go back and re-tag the old images. Ofcourse some tag linking would help. Such as Shink and Mima automatically getting a PC-98 tag.

+1 to adding a touhou_(pc-98) tag. I don't see any posts with rationale for it causing harm, and several from people who clearly think it would be nice to have. I'm not inclined to disagree.

Touhou is an enormous enough tag to warrant a division like this. But I'll need to leave it to the Touhou fans to work out how to best define it.

As for _(pc-98) vs _(classic), I prefer the former since this is a very specific tag anyway.

I also want to request alias for PC-98 characters:

alice_margatroid_(young) -> alice_margatroid_(pc-98)
kazami_yuuka_(classic) -> kazami_yuuka_(pc-98)
hakurei_reimu_(classic) -> hakurei_reimu_(pc-98)
kirisame_marisa_(classic) -> kirisame_marisa_(pc-98)

Did:
create alias alice_margatroid_(young) -> alice_margatroid_(pc-98)
create alias kazami_yuuka_(classic) -> kazami_yuuka_(pc-98)
create alias hakurei_reimu_(classic) -> hakurei_reimu_(pc-98)
create alias kirisame_marisa_(classic) -> kirisame_marisa_(pc-98)

Apparently implication doesn't work when coupling with alias. So:

implicating alice_margatroid_(pc-98) -> alice_margatroid
implicating kazami_yuuka_(pc-98) -> kazami_yuuka
implicating hakurei_reimu_(pc-98) -> hakurei_reimu
implicating kirisame_marisa_(pc-98) -> kirisame_marisa

Also, obsolete PC-98 character tags (alice_margatroid_(young), kazami_yuuka_(classic), hakurei_reimu_(classic), kirisame_marisa_(classic)) are still implicated to their main character tags. I think those old implications can be removed now.

Completely forgot about the character_(pc-98) tags, thought he was proposing replacing them with <character> + touhou_pc-98.

He means that this is the current setup:

alice_margatroid_(young) --implicates------------------------------------------> alice_margatroid
alice_margatroid_(young) --aliased to--> alice_margatroid_(pc-98) --implicates--> alice_margatroid

The implication from (young) is redundant.
Didn't Danbooru 1 move implications automatically when a tag was aliased?

remove implication alice_margatroid_(young) -> alice_margatroid
remove implication kazami_yuuka_(classic) -> kazami_yuuka
remove implication hakurei_reimu_(classic) -> hakurei_reimu

Why? They have already been aliased to other tags. And those tags are implicated, so these implications are duplicates.

I assume it has to do with the repeated bugs with aliases not moving the tag's category (which are hopefully fixed now).

I just fixed those tags.
