I don't know if it's intentional vandalism since they're adding other tags, but they're definitely wrong about all the artists. A lot of them are sourced pixivs, and most of the rest have the artist name written on them.
Requesting spoiler-tagging for the first voted-down comment on post #1386339, which apparently has a Vividred Operation spoiler, according to the second comment.
which were both approved by Ephyon even though they are terrible quality and undeniably not anime-related

Kinda makes me worry that his account has been compromised, I don't see how both of these could have been accidentally approved by anyone otherwise.
I want to check if it's really you who approved those two posts. There had been a couple of cases where users' accounts being hacked after Danbooru 2 comes to live. So if you receive this message, please reply me as soon as possible or give a reply to forum #87216.
Ephyon's last approval post is 3 hours ago so he's around the board. I'm just not sure he doesn't want to reply or if he's not aware of the mail.
i think it's not my place to say this, but i think the negative record issued against S1eth was done primarily because of disagreement or conflict of interests. i could say S1eth's action was not done maliciously nor anything vandal (refer forum #87535). i also don't blame the creator, but i think it was hastily done charged with emotions considering the issue is still on going (topic #7842).
with this, i request to remove the negative record.
Hmm, while the guidelines say "don't translate if you aren't sure", said user does do a lot of translations. (~440x 'unsure' vs 12,500 total notes)
A lot of the translations are also stuff like "Ah♥!" and "Nn♥!" and it's easy to rack up your count with stuff like that. The guidelines also are against using hearts like that. I'm not necessarily saying to give out a negative record, but a neutral warning about it might need to be made.
This isn't exactly comment abuse, but I'm sure there shouldn't be so many of these kinds of notes by the same user.
I agree. No translation at all would be an improvement over those kinds of notes.
Although he seems to be making fewer unsure translations after I warned him about it a while ago. (Edit: And right after I say that, he seems to have started again...)

High quantity is not an excuse for poor quality. He can and should just skip over posts that he doesn't know how to translate.
And even among the notes that he doesn't mark as "UNSURE", I don't personally think that all of them are of particularly high quality.
I tossed up a record and his response was basically "I know how blacklists work but I'm not going to stand by and watch people shit on things I like. I'm being as civil as I can; downvote my comments if you don't like them."
Eh, fair enough, I guess. Though we certainly have different views on civility.
