"Remember Me" or the like.

many similar issues were raised already. but i like to point out additionally the tag list , post histories and user records that might be important in gardening.

how exactly are the tags in the tag list arranged? it may be helpful if the most recent appears on top and there's a way to hide the zero-post tags.

the post histories now display a pitiful 20 most recent changes only. this is a far cry from the previous 250. it's very tedious to click so much every now and then especially when someone just ran a script or mass edited.

am not sure how the user record is arranged as page 172 shows that the date issued were not chronologically arranged. and maybe it would be better if the most recent appears on the front page. or if we are going to group by type, the negative should be given a higher priority than to be pushed at the back. thanks.

Another odd issue: post #1362568 is part of pool #2420, and yet it isn't. It doesn't show up anywhere on the pool listing pages, and the << link on its own page is inactive.

I'm not sure what caused that, but I fixed it by adding it on to the end of the list of posts in the pool.

we can get back the order:favcount? because order:score is useless and untruthful.

I think the exact opposite.

I think order:score is useful, but having order:favcount back would be nice too.

There's no more "Edit" link in the post sidebar, so I need to scroll all the way down to the bottom of the image.

You can push the 'e' key on your keyboard and it'll take you straight to the edit box.

1. "Resize" option is gone. I loooooooooooved that. I don't really like the new resize option that shows a max-850px sample because it's less flexible. The automatic resize that matched my browser width was awesome, because I could always show originals and the occasional highres image that didn't fit horizontally would fit automatically. I desperately miss this feature more than I can put into words.

This, it was one of the main reasons I got my account in the first place back then (I am ashamed of my laziness). Given the fact that i often open several tabs at once to save some art I will miss it as well.

I can't help but to think that this update brought in a ton of inconveniences that "fixed what wasn't broken" - in a bad way.

I just made my first upload with 2.x. It was unpleasant. It's not uncommon for me to notice something that needs added or changed just after I hit submit. You may not have thought that the ten or fifteen seconds of waiting for whatever processing needs to happen was a big deal for being able to correct those. You would be wrong. Moreover, it doesn't automatically take you to the post page. So I had to click a link in the middle of a bunch of text about something I, as a user, don't care about and then stare blankly at the image for another ten seconds racking my brain for what it was I needed to change (the rating in this case).

The related tag thing is kind of cool, but the list it returns would be much easier to parse if it were sorted alphabetically. Also, I rather wish there was a way to get multiple related tag lists at the same time (at least suggestions for all the characters at once would be handy).

And I'll mention again that not having tag completion working makes me want to punch a train to death. I really hope that gets fixed soon.

Aw hell no. Sites silently and irrevocably hijacking keyboard input to do things that are almost completely undocumented is a practice that needs to be extinguished with extreme prejudice.

Even better, that places the cursor at the beginning, which is pretty much the least convenient place it could be if you want to add tags (you know, the most common operation).

I'm not sure what caused that, but I fixed it by adding it on to the end of the list of posts in the pool.

Had the same issue with post #1362356 , by trying to add it to a pool via 'pool:[number]' in the tags. Fixed by manually choosing the pool.

...I hate to admit it, but that update is a disaster after all. Looks more like mutation than evolution. Was it really necessary to fix what wasn't broken in the first place? Worst thing is that I don't know Ruby and all the sources are almost uncommented, so I can't really help even though I want to. And ActiveRecord style confuses me way too much to suggest any SQL performance upgrades.

Yes, a link within the link-filled landing page accessed through the modal drop down menu. Very obvious. That's exactly what I mean by "almost undocumented".

Unless you can opt out and it's extremely clear to the user that it exists, invisible UI trappings like this make for bad usability.

Funny. It works for me just fine. But then again I just tag everythign in DanbooruUp and copy/paste everything over.

Has someone addressed the problem of getting a "make a wiki entry" page when you click on a link to another tag in tag's wiki. I think it has to do with how the link has "show_or_new" and it chooses new instead.

Also I miss the ability to change posts modes (easier to favorite pictures en masse)

But as far as the keyboard functions, they should be more clearly noted. (such as having a help page link on posts themselves.) As it is, it comes off as an idea a select few thought was cool and was passed forward without considering how most others would find it.

Can you give an example of a page that gives you that?
I believe it only says that if you go to a wiki page that doesn't exist, so you should be able to view it if the link is to a page that does exist.

You still can.
The only change to post modes is that they don't change the background color like they used to, but that's just a bug.

I'm not sure if this has been mentioned in the thread but how do you lock and unlock post ratings? I don't see a check-box anymore.

I believe rating, note, and pool locking was taken out in Danbooru 2. Although it's a little difficult to tell for sure when there's no change log.

This is actually due to the fact that the urls are case sensitive.
