The answer is futa. It isn't explicitly against the rules, but uploading new futa is still dicey.

Well. I don't see "Don't upload futa" in the uploading guidelines. Either ban it (and consequently delete all of it), or allow it.

Going "Well. We have 1870 Futa images on here, but uploading them is not-quite-to-our-liking so we won't approve that junk" is slightly ridiculous.

EDIT: Funny that the one I expected least to be undeleted was the only one that -was- undeleted. Maybe I really don't have the right mindset to upload 'quality' on danbooru.

That's not how it works though. Images still need to be accepted by at least one person. Even if they're not explicitly against the TOS, that alone is not reason enough to be accepted. There are a number of things that aren't strictly against the rules, but that aren't well liked either. Outright banning them isn't necessary, though. (Not that I'd protest a futa ban, but that's another matter. Fact is that it's not banned.)

I would approve of futanari pics if they were nice enough.

So, clearly, it shouldn't be banned. People like it.

It is just that most of the mods don't. Which shows how much biasing there is in these boards.

They were shitty images. I can and will approve decent Futa images, but I'm not going to approve ones with huge, ugly, veiny penises. The penis on a futa is a means to an end, it should not be the focus of the damn image.

Hence me pointing out the irony in the one with the huge, veiny penis being the only one that got undeleted.

Noone addressed why the Haribel render was deleted (with reason ".", mind), while the parent image got through with no problems, though. That's the one I was the most confused about. It's not futa like the others. It'd be helpful if the deletion reason made some degree of sense.

Part of me wants to suggest a "If it wasn't deleted in three days it gets approved" system just to see if it works.

I'm just slightly miffed about paying for a privileged account, then slowly getting the upload queue ruined because posts that don't violate any rules do not get approved for arbitrary reasons, that to my knowledge aren't even documented anywhere.

But this is probably getting off-topic.

By and large renders are crap, and that one wasn't good enough to get by. Can't speak for however the first version got uploaded

Absolutely not. Terrible idea.

Then don't upload. The point of a privileged account is to be able to see all the images on the site, and has nothing to do with uploading at all. If you find that your opinions of quality images do not match up with those of the staff, STOP UPLOADING.

In that case, just writing "Crap render" (Or even shorter, just "crap") into the reason for deletion would've been plenty, and I wouldn't have whined about it.

In my case, the privileged account was about getting rid of ads without feeling guilty about using an adblocker and costing a favourite page revenue. I didn't pay the money just to see the 89 loli+futanari images that are even relevant to my interests. If I just wanted the pictures, I'd have gone to gelbooru ages ago. As you can tell, I didn't.

Being a little miffed isn't going to stop me from uploading, but one of the nice perks of the internet is that a little whining when something upsets me isn't going to leave me beaten and bleeding in some back alley, so I make use of that once in a while.

There's actually this: howto:upload. It documents what attitude to have when uploading, and might help you.

Funnily enough, I'm one of the people that actually RTFMs. But the only point relevant to my issues in there is "The approval process is subjective.". Well, that's going to help me a ton trying to determine what kind of art suits the moderator/janitor staff and what doesn't.

EDIT: Should probably add that of those 89 Futanari+Loli pics about 20 seriously squick me out, and utterly befuddle me as to how those got through the approval process. Well, not really. They're uploaded by contributors. But still.

You could start by looking at the kind of images that are already accepted within whatever general scope(/tag) you prefer.

Admittedly that's not gonna help you much if furry yaoi scat dickgirls or some other generally disapproved deviancy happens to be your thing, but for general stuff it's solid advice.

The difference, however, is that bosshi can draw. The other whatshisface can't.

Part of me wants to suggest a "If it wasn't deleted in three days it gets approved" system just to see if it works.

Absolutely not. The whole point of the current system is that if the image is meh, but not quite rulebreaking to warrant deleting it, you can pass over it and see if someone else likes it enough. It didn't end up this way by accident, y'know?

I'm just slightly miffed about paying for a privileged account, then slowly getting the upload queue ruined because posts that don't violate any rules do not get approved for arbitrary reasons, that to my knowledge aren't even documented anywhere.

Yes, they are: howto:upload. None of the mods and janitors liking the image enough is a reason in and of itself to delete an image, that is the point of having a mod queue. This very thread is for appealing cases where you feel an image was unfairly skipped, but it's not for stirring up shit because you fail to get the system. You can disagree with it, and that's a matter to take to a new thread, if you want to risk being hated by everyone for picking it up yet again, but what you shouldn't do is whine how your precious ego and twenty bux is offended by our quality standards. That's annoying and a public order disturbance.

As your points seem to have been addressed, Hecate, and the rules explained, I'd like for this thread to go back to being a deletion appeal thread. Just to keep it more streamlined and all. Thanks.

Think about this, and realize why it is incorrect.

I actually meant that futa in general shouldn't be banned, because there are people who like it. Of course, bad pictures are not something people likes.

Sorry if my way of saying it sounded differently than what I intended it to sound.
