Artist tagging help

Posted under General

Found some game cgs from a gamed called tune_up!! that were mistakenly tagged with suzuhira_hiro. The problem is the artist is called berry's and we already have a copyright tag by that name. I have no idea if I should tag the artist with a qualifier or the game. I can't really find much on the artist to help with that either.

Artist is credited under three different games released by different publishers. Unfortunately information on the artist is very sparse; the only things I can come up with when searching are, well, credits for those three games, and nothing else.

I'm afraid we will have to resort to an ugly Berry's_(artist) tag for now until we can find a better qualifier. If we can find a qualifier.

Thank you. Went ahead and tagged them with berry's_(artist). I don't have a lot of hope we'll find a different qualifier considering how old these games are and any websites they may have had are very likely gone.

According to http://www.kakuge.info/topic/gallery.htm the artist of this piece is "海栗 よしみ", though I don't know if that's supposed to be Umiguri Yoshimi, Umikuri Yoshimi, just "Uni Yoshimi", or something else. I've found of their websites, but none of them gave a reading.

海栗 by default is pronounced "uni" (i.e. "sea urchin").

Usually most of the time we assume the more common pronunciations when transliterating names. Some are hard (multiple common pronunciations), but 海栗 is only pronounced "uni" unless the person is deliberately trying to be punny (e.g. chestnut pun).

TL;DR: Assume it's "uni"; it's safe to do so.

i figured their kin_umineko had more to do with posting/retweeting umineko fanart

It sounds logical if the page alias doesn't reflect the artist's data.
Then you can specify his nickname with a note (site name or circle) wiki howto:artist. Like as 392_(kin_umineko).
Other, like as 392 (ufxk8582). Result = 392_mnej7252.
Third, simple option, but meaningless. Like as "392_(artist)". see also "wiki howto:pixiv and howto:artist"

Recommend: nick+twitter url postfix.

Note that Pixiv nicknames are not necessarily unique. If it is too generic ("Ken", "Daisuke", "Youko", etc.), add a qualifier to make it unique. Good choices for qualifiers include:

...
The artist's twitter handle
e.g. oyamada_(pi0v0jg)
