Well, I don't do it with malicious intent. I just do it so I can check back and forth between the image and the tags.

If you use Firefox, then I would look into using the Danbooru Uploader add-on for that. You right click the image and click "Upload to Danbooru", and a small window appears that lets you look at the image and tag appropriately. The only problem with that add-on is that you lose the "Related *" that the upload page has. However, it does have an auto completer and a find artist button.

Yes gelbooru only mirrors the image/tag on first upload unless they changed something recently. There's a ton of old 3db images over there with typoed/unique tags that have been fixed since on 3db but are still wrong on gelbooru.

They mirror notes too (if you add them quickly enough after upload I suppose).

I'm going to hit this in a different direction, and feel free to shoot me down if I step out of line on this, but if you're uploading to have your name on someone else's work, you should probably be somewhere else.
