Conversation thread?

Can a mod/staff member make a conversation thread for members to discuss with one another or is fun against the TOS?(/jk). Just an idea.

That's not just his opinion. The only purpose of the forum is to discuss ways on how we can improve the site, so there's no need for a friendly conversation-type thread.

If you want to be social, there's a metric-ton of other mediums to do that on.

Whoops, I missed that. Fun is listed right after kittens and "All things good in the world" as content that are against TOS.

I never liked kittens anyway.

Comments are already used for light conversation and all that (usually more than they should too).

You might also consider using private messaging for social conversation. Just be careful who you try to engage.
