I guess I support this, since turtle can mean the whole order of testudines. But will sea turtles also fall under this?

When I think of the turtle that Kame Sennin always hangs around, I don't think "sea turtle"; I just think "turtle".

So, I would say sea turtles do fall under it. Or, if not, an implication would be quite appropriate.

Yeah, I don't know if it's a big deal or not but turtles, tortoises, and terrapins have legs, and sea turtles have flippers.

I'd say implicate, as they are pretty visually distinct. But then so are large tortoises. Box turtles on the other hand are technically tortoises, but I'd almost always just call them turtles.

Sea_turtle -turtle would actually turn up nothing you probably have your implication backwards.

The reason nothing is found with sea_turtle is that there were no posts tagged sea_turtle.

And as log noted, it's an implication, so all sea_turtle posts get turtle added. Searching just sea_turtle will only bring up sea_turtle images.
