Heterosexual tag

heterosexual is really in the same boat as vaginal: even if we were to use them, they would be woefully undertagged (and therefore useless for most purposes) because they're the 'default', comprising the majority of sex/romance pictures on Danbooru. That sentiment may be heteronormative (which is a loaded word if ever I've heard one), but it's also true, which should probably count for something.

I just scanned through the first 10 pages of yuri and found zero males. If this is, in fact, a problem at all, it's certainly not a big one.

We've had discussions about this in the past, and the consensus is that we shouldn't add redundant tags to make Member-level searching easier. Sort of a raw deal, I know, but albert does have to pay the bills somehow, and $20 really isn't that expensive.

While its theoretically possible for there to be a male in a properly tagged yuri image, any image that has a male participating in the sex is, by our definition, not yuri.

If there is a male participating and it has yuri elements, it should get the bisexual tag instead.

Should couple be used for sex too? Doesn't seem it's the purpose of the tag.

It's the heterosexual couples' version of the yuri and yaoi tags, both of which run the gamut of explicitness and work-safety. If one wanted to see non-sexual couple pics, a search for couple rating:s ought to work.

If it's particularly tender and loving sex, I'd say it should get the couple tag, though I wonder if there might be a lot of intersections between a couple sex search and the happy_sex tag.

That's the other reason why I'm asking. "Romantic sexual situations" probably warrant a happy_sex tag in the first place, making couple redundant. But a lot of couple tagged sex posts seem to bypass the romantic part.

If this Heterosexual tag is no longer used, can I just replace that tag with couple tag on as many images I coul find??

Hate to bump this thread, but I want to remove the tags from posts. Is this allowed? I've replaced some with couple, butsome situation just doesn't warrant the tag.

Yes, that's what the thread agreed on. Replace where possible, and once you're done, report so the rest can be eradicated.

Finished. Heterosexual tag has only one post left now, which I can't modify, since it must be loli or shota. But for now, you can say it's pretty much finished.
