It looks like some of my uploads have been taken down. No big deal, everyone's tastes are different. High standards keep this site fun to visit!
But I'm wondering if there's any way to reconcile the situation I've found myself in...
You see, post #8894481 and two of its children were approved just fine. I then posted on the forum at https://danbooru.donmai.us/forum_topics/30823, to discuss if the other three variants should be posted. I decided to upload them for completion's sake, and they didn't get approved (I would assume for redundancy). My upload slots have taken a hit as a result, and that sort of stings given the context.
Adding onto this, post #8894576 was not approved (it is currently being appealed). As I said in the beginning, there's nothing wrong with that. However, the post contained four children that, by extension, weren't approved either...
So basically, seven of my deleted uploads are variants that suffered ill fortune. If this is just the price I have to pay, then so be it. I was hoping, though, that there would be some way to remedy this hit to upload slots (yes, I can just upload quality art to get more, but in addition to that pursuit being driven by opinion, the deletions will forever drag down my percentage of approvals to denials and damage my progress towards contributor).
If there's nothing to be done, oh well! In that instance, can anyone provide advice for how I could approach this child post challenge with future uploads?
