create implication vector_trace -> derivative_work
If someone's vector tracing an artwork then they're deriving it from someone else's work.

im not super sure about this because there are quite a few posts in the tag like post #5619001 and post #8823618 that are clearly original art and dont look anything like what i thought vectors looked like. am i missing something? is this a simple mistag? i havent thought about vectors in like, 6 years.
I would not tag those as vector traces... not sure why they're in the tag...? Though arguably most vector traces don't fit the wiki definition either. i can tell you that when i did vector traces it was in fucking paint.net and not a vector graphics program lol Some are probably mistags though. I'm almost positive post #7582797 was trying to tag Vector the Crocodile and fucked up their /vtc
shortcut, based on the tag history.
I don't think we need to look too much into this. A vector trace is, by definition, tracing an image by drawing on top of it with a vector program.
I would argue a lot of vector trace stuff is not actually vector traces, just normal traces, but that might be because trace is aliased to it. vector is too, so it might be time to remove those aliases.

remove alias vector -> vector_trace
remove alias trace -> vector_trace
remove alias vectortrace -> vector_trace
As above. IDK if we want to alias trace to derivative work at this point. And vector could also refer to vector art.
