Actually, jewelery would be a misspelling of jewellery. Aside from the US vs. UK English debate (it seems like the UK spellings have no currency, no matter my personal preferences), we oughta have all aliased to a single form. So either jewellery → jewelry, or the other way around.

As for UK spellings, we use grey over gray. But then I prefer that spelling anyway, despite using American English.

We also use axe over ax. I prefer that one too.

Edit: having pointed this out, I just noticed we could use an alias here. Current usage (as with grey_hair) would suggest gray → grey.
