Since nobody care to answer, I will go ahead with the first solution to nuke the tag entirely. As we can just tag each religion specifically instead.

So, there's a tag called religion which seems to cover any image with religious subtext. Though given that we are now tagging each religion individually, I don't know what should this tag be used for. Should we imply all the religion into this one tag, or just deprecate this tag?

I'm curious if it could be repurposed to accommodate fantasy and fictious religous ceramonies like post #7837615 which are very hard to search at the moment.
As it stands from a glance it seems like there is a lot of political meme junk and posts that could be sorted into more particular relgious tags so I'm not opposed to the removal of the tag.
