a lot of the time the kind of relationship is not mentioned at all (post #8948818). sometimes just enough is said to determine the type of relationship, such as boss-employee (post #5720431). moreover, two named characters with proper designs might be treated as strangers by either the original story, or the fanwork (i have no examples at the time). it's not a good suggestion whatsoever

Just threw in an idea in response to @Knowledge_Seeker's encouragement for suggestions!

If you're concerned about gender neutrality and the fact that they could be not a stranger, could try something like generic_character, nondescript_character or undisclosed_character

Huh...You know, I actually kinda like "generic character" as a possible tag suggestion. It could also be umbrellaed with "generic male" and "generic female" as subtags, and the main tag could serve for disembodied hands. It communicates the vibe of mob characters well, too.

I might be late, but I also agree with generic character as the tag for this.

Let's try this again with "generic character" this time, and see if that gets any better results.

I wonder if specific appearance tags could be added to the wiki if this BUR ever gets accepted? The examples would be like gyaruo, fat man, muscular male and dark-skinned male.
