since it's an official genderbend, it seems to be slightly different

but does the artist call them "genderbended"? isn't the proper word "genderbent"?

Even if it is an official genderbend, tags like the one given as an example typically aren't made for VTubers unless they officially debut or appear so much in fanart that they necessitate some sort of tag (ex. Ogyayu (Nekomata Okayu) for the latter, as their given example is of the former). In this case, from what I can tell on their Twitter, while they've posted a rough rendering of what their genderbent version would look like in model form. However, based on the comment on that post, the preceding art, and the art uploaded above, it doesn't seem like they have plans of actually turning this into an official design for her model, but just as something to draw in art. And that's an important distinction to make for a VTuber who, at the time of writing, only has 13 posts which weren't drawn by themselves. That is to say, using the genderswap tags would be more than enough here, especially as other official genderbent versions of characters do not have their own tags (and we even have cases of such tags getting nuked, ala topic #20272 and topic #22308, with the former example more relevant here).

Also, even if we did want this tag, it would probably not be formatted like that unless Nano herself called it "Genderbent Nano", it'd sooner be "Nano (Nanoless) (Male)" or "[insert-name-nano-gives-for-her-male-form] (Nanoless)".

Ah, that makes lots of sense, thank you!

So if she does end up debuting a genderbent model and it is decided it would get its own tag, would past drawings be tagged with it if the design is similar? If the design is quite different, I would say not as those past drawings wouldn't match the model, but would they still get tagged if it ends up similar?

While it is unlikely to happen, it might be useful knowledge if a similar case happens. Thank you!
