I wanted to bring up the topic broached at the tail end of topic #16991 again since sanpaku's usage still seems all over the place, and I couldn't really find consensus on what to do regarding the tag. From what I can see with a cursory glance, it seems like art where even a tiny bit of white under the iris are tagged under this, stretching the wiki's definition quite a bit. post #8048606 seems to fit the traditional idea of the tag—clear sclera below the iris, constricted most of the time.
But there are a number of posts that barely even fit like post #8555087, or images like post #8377797 that fit upturned eyes better. And there are posts like post #8462099 which seem to fit, but I'm not sure where the line is drawn.
It feels inconsistent, and I’m not sure how to approach fixing it. Should we tighten up the definition and usage of sanpaku in-wiki? Or is this more of a matter of cleaning up posts? Opinions on what course of action to take would be appreciated.
