Beneath the haze of neon light,
Where shadows merge with the velvet night,
A dice rolls, a wheel spins fast,
Fortunes flicker, built to last.
The cards are shuffled, sharp and sly,
Promises whispered in their lie.
A queen of hearts, a king of spades,
Dreams are dealt; their price is paid.
The gambler sits with steady hand,
A stoic face, a heart unmanned.
Yet deep within, the embers glow,
A yearning fire, a need to know.
Will luck, that fickle mistress fair,
Bless the brave or strip them bare?
With every chip, a hope takes flight,
A prayer to conquer endless night.
Coins cascade in gilded streams,
Fueling hope and shattering dreams.
The slots hum tunes both grim and sweet,
An orchestra of loss and feat.
The roulette spins, a gleaming sphere,
A chance to win, a risk severe.
Black or red, the ball decides,
A destiny that fortune guides.
Yet for each laugh that echoes loud,
A thousand sighs escape the crowd.
For gambling's not just loss or gain,
It’s longing mixed with thrill and pain.
And when the dawn breaks pale and cold,
The gambler leaves, with tales untold.
Win or lose, they'll return once more,
Drawn to fate's unyielding door.
For life itself's a gamble too,
With dreams we chase, with risks we rue.
And so they bet, their souls entranced,

How can I improve my chances of winning?
- Every post you upload that gets approved gives you one extra entry in the raffle. The more you upload, the more chances you get.

Why?
Due to the ongoing payment processor outage and the impossibility of upgrading accounts in any way other than becoming an active contributor, we've decided to start giving away platinum account upgrades every few months, in order to give our users a chance at upgrading their account when no other way is available.
What if I don't win?/What if my account was created today?
We'll be having these raffles regularly, so better luck next time. You can also just contribute regularly to the site by uploading, tagging, translating or participating in discussions on the forums, which will eventually get you promoted to Builder (equivalent to Platinum).
