How do you format a date for advanced searching?

Didn't seem to bring up anything if I did MM-DD-YY, MM-DD-YYYY, YYYY-MM-DD, or YYYYMMDD

You're talking about the post history? Contrary to the label "date", the field represents the updated date and time. So you basically need to enter a time range as "<start>...<end>" where <start> and <end> is the date and time in ISO 8601 format, like 2024-12-19T10:30:00...2024-12-19T10:30:30.

You can omit the seconds parts (like 2024-12-19T10:30...2024-12-19T10:31), or the entire time (in which case it means midnight of the day, like 2024-12-19...2024-12-20).
