Should Vocaloid wikis be generalized to include all vocal synths?

Posted under General

With the recent rise in popularity of UTAUloid/Synthesizer V Kasane Teto, she has received a lot more tagged songs and tagged derivatives. Many other non-Vocaloid characters/voicebanks also have their own derivatives and lists of songs. These should be kept track of in the same way VOCALOID songs and derivatives are in their respective wikis:

But should they get their own page or should the Vocaloid wikis be generalized to include any and all vocal synths? If they get their own page, we run into the problem of what to title it considering all the crossover between programs that characters have nowadays.

PS: Not sure how renaming wikis work, if even possible. I tried putting up a rename request for voting but they don't count as tags so it didn't go through.

The only internal distinction the song list has is for producers/groups, so I have to wonder if any non-VOCALOID voice banks (ex. Hatsune Miku (NT)) have their songs listed on that page.

You just rename them manually, by replacing the text in the Title box with anything else. As long as the Title box contains text that isn't used by any other wiki, it gets renamed. It's incredibly simple.

Nearly every single song with a wiki links to List of Vocaloid songs though. Same for derivatives. Wouldn't they have to all be manually updated?

I went ahead and made list of vocal synth derivatives and list of vocal synth songs. These need to be filled in with all the current tags.

I thought about lumping them in to the VOCALOID lists but it felt wrong doing so, almost like misinformation to label them VOCALOID. Thinking about it retroactively, it's standard to start with the general category first before the more specific category gets its own list if it gets large enough. But of course VOCALOID/vocal synth is the opposite.
