Anatomical_heart vs heart_(organ).

Posted under Tags

So I noticed we have heart_(organ) rather than "anatomical_heart" which (to my surprise) was actually filled with gore posts of people handling 3 dimensional hearts. But that does raise the question of what do we actually do with 2 dimensional designs of anatomical hearts? Like tattoos and shirt designs. There was also instance of "symbol shaped" hearts being treated as organs post #4583571 post #7643088 post #4984032.

Should the tag be renamed to anatomical heart, should we have a separate tag for the design of the heart, or is it fine as is?

This might just be because I'm a sucker for the music video to undisclosed desires by muse and find anatomical hearts aesthetic as hell...

BUR #30131 has been rejected.

create alias heart -> heart_(symbol)
create alias heart_(organ) -> heart_(anatomical)
create alias anatomical_heart -> heart_(anatomical)

More radical but with consistent naming convention. Only reason I'm adding "anatomiCAL" instead of "anatomy" is to avoid the above issues with hearts not being treated as objects but flat designs "in universe".

BUR #31256 has been rejected.

create alias heart -> heart_(symbol)
remove alias heart -> heart_(symbol)
deprecate heart

I have created heart_symbol_as_organ to show instances of the heart being displayed as a symbol but also an organ at the same time.

That's a really good idea. But I wonder if it should have a parentheses. Looking back on it the anatomy/anatomical difference isn't that big and the dormer seems more consistent with naming conventions, but I can also see heart_(organ) working. So it's what people think of this. Though I don't know if people want both tags to have a qualifier as that seems to be tradition (eg, bat animal and bat weapon) but heart (symbol) also outnumbers heart (organ/anatomy) 500+ to one.
