Seperate tags into 2 categories, meta/physical

Hi,

So my idea is that it would be nice if there was 2 (or maybe more..) "head" tags/categories such as meta and physical, meta is for concepts and physical is for things that are on the image, heres an example

• hair ornament

Meta:

• aged down
• indoors
• looking ahead
• looking at viewer
• portrait
• profile
• sidelighting
• solo focus

Some of the tags can be a bit tricky but I think it would be something like that

We already have meta tags, seperated at the bottom of the tag list and colored yelllow. Highres, commentary, and derivative work are a few examples. For the purposes of the site though meta refers to information not visually found in the image itself.

Not sure how feasible sorting physical/nonphysical objects would be.

We already have 5 tag categories, including Meta. Look on the left-hand side of any post and you'll see them. What you're listing are the General tags.

Splitting the General category would create more work for taggers because they'd have to figure out which of the two categories a new tag should be put in. We'd need to develop a whole new set of rules to determine which tag goes where, and we have over 80,000 tags classified as General right now. I highly doubt anyone would be willing to take the time to sort through all of them.

The categories as they are now are clear-cut. Artist, Copyright, and Character are self-explanatory. Meta is for things related to the actual file or information related to the file (including commentary and translations). General is for the elements present in the image, including actions and the setting. There's barely any confusion with how any one tag should be categorized. Things will be a lot more confusing if we split the General category.

Honestly, this wouldn't have been such a bad idea if it had been implemented during Danbooru's early days. However, I'm not sure it's a good idea to add it in now.
