remove implication ipod_touch -> ipod
create implication ipod_classic -> digital_media_player
create implication ipod_nano -> digital_media_player
create implication ipod_shuffle -> digital_media_player
create implication ipod_touch -> digital_media_player
mass update ipod_classic -> -ipod
mass update ipod_nano -> -ipod
mass update ipod_shuffle -> -ipod
mass update ipod_touch -> -ipod

Per topic #17199, ipod should be for when you don't know the model, just as specific phone designs like iPhone X don't imply iphone. The implications for other iPods were created nine years ago in topic #12098 as one of the first BURs, so they probably aren't the best example of what we should do today.

ipod_model tags should imply digital media player as ipod does and existing ipod_model -> ipod implications should be removed. ipod remains useful for when you can't tell which model it is, or the artist drew a unique iPod that doesn't exist.

Wasn't aware of how iPhone tags are set up, that works with me.

mass update walkman_b_series -> -digital_walkman
create implication walkman_e_series -> digital_media_player
mass update walkman_e_series -> -digital_walkman
create implication walkman_nw-s203f -> digital_media_player
mass update walkman_nw-s203f -> -digital_walkman
mass update walkman_w_series -> -digital_walkman

This should probably be done too if we're doing the above.

On second thought, I'm... Not actually a fan of how iPhone currently functions, it requires users to search a wildcard to find any post with an iPhone rather than the much more intuitive option of simply searching iPhone. Indistinguishable models can still be found with iphone -iphone_*.

The original PlayStation comparison doesn't work because the PlayStation is a different console entirely from say, the PlayStation 2.

I agree with this tbh.

BUR #31259 has been approved by @nonamethanks.

create implication ipod_classic -> ipod
create implication iphone_3g -> iphone
remove implication iphone_x -> smartphone
create implication iphone_x -> iphone
remove implication iphone_11 -> smartphone
create implication iphone_11 -> iphone
remove implication iphone_11_pro -> smartphone
create implication iphone_11_pro -> iphone
create implication iphone_12 -> iphone
create implication iphone_12_pro -> iphone
create implication iphone_13 -> iphone

Alternative BUR that eliminates the weird and unintuitive "iPhone is not an umbrella tag for all iPhones and only refers to unidentified iPhones" thing.
