Ponyta rename

BUR #29546 has been rejected.

rename ponyta -> ponyta_(pokemon)

I noticed this one messing with autocomplete for ponytail. I'm not 100% certain this rename would fix that though, but I think it does...

ponytail is the first autocomplete result for "pon", "pony" and "ponyt". It only changes to ponyta when you get to "ponyta", at which point it's only two more letters to type "ponytail" in its entirety. I don't see what the problem is.

At the risk of sounding pedantic, well, you just described the problem. ponytail is a single word, so it's quite easy to type most of it before autocomplete pops up, at which point the pokemon is first. Source: that happening is what prompted me to make this bur. It's not an issue that happens a lot, but ponyta being an exact prefix of ponytail, I don't see the harm in avoiding it.

Yes, but because you can just use "pon", this problem only happens once. It doesn't constantly interrupt you like how chin does when trying to autocomplete to chinese_commentary. If the exact prefix mismatch is several letters longer than the shortest autocomplete tab, then there's no need to qualify an established tag over it.

How would that change anything?
Ponyta_(pokemon) is still on the same autocomplete list as ponyta and therefore as easy to misclick as before.

E: I see. Yeah, still against it. If you write "ponyta" you were about to write out the tag anyways.

I don't think autocomplete results should be a factor in qualifying an unambiguous tag.

If you ask me, a tag that's just the first 3/4 of another, very common tag is quite ambiguous.

I was gonna say we can fix this problem by calling it's Japanese name; but it's Japanese name is still "Ponyta" lol

Thank God we don't use Japanese names for Pokémon.

And Ponyta is no common tag. And if you're writing "ponyta" it's faster to type "il" then clicking something on the autocomplete list.
This sounds like a made-up issue.
