Reorganizing a bunch of Power tool and related tags

Posted under Tags

BUR #29445 has been rejected.

create implication jackhammer -> power_tool
create implication nail_gun -> power_tool
create implication power_drill -> power_tool
create implication brushcutter -> power_tool
create alias disc_grinder -> angle_grinder
create alias weed_whacker -> brushcutter
create alias weed_eater -> brushcutter
create implication brushcutter -> saw
create alias hand_drill -> power_drill
remove alias hand_drill -> power_drill
create alias rotary_hammer -> power_drill

I've noticed that various power tool-related tags is kinda disorganized. So I've decided to made a BUR turning it into an umbrella tag for various kind of powered tools (or more specifically the portable ones). This also include alias to merge a few of redundant tags.

I've decided not to include chainsaw and circular saw in the list, even tho they are generally considered a type of power tool. Mainly because they are plethora of things that uses these as their weapon and has it attached to their body (like Pochita), and therefore would be strange to apply "power tool" tag on them. Similar to how the scythe tag was handled in relation with the polearm tag group.

P.S. I wanna create an imply BUR for angle grinder and leaf blower into power tool, but they have less than 10 posts. So can anyone please bypass that?

Should note that the term "hand drill" generally refers to hand-powered drills.

A brushcutter and weed whacker are different degrees of the same concept. A weed whacker or string trimmer uses a monofilament string that it spins to cut grass and small brush. A brushcutter is a heavier duty machine that uses a spinning blade or chains (so doesn't always have a saw blade and may feature lawn mower-like blades) to cut down brush and small trees.

Yeah, but the problem is that there is literally only one post of that (post #2741825), which is now given the tag of brace drill. The fact that almost all of "hand drill" tags were basically used for any handheld power drill kinda shows that people would be most likely to use it for that purposes.

About brushcutter/weed whacker, they are kinda harder to distinguish when operating, so I'm still considered merging them.

Hand drill would be matching the term hand tool, which also refers to small unpowered/hand-powered tools. Shouldn't mix terminology. Hand tool vs power tool; hand drill vs power drill. If necessary it'd be better to deprecate it than alias it to power drill.

Hmmm, I think I should go with alias-unalias instead, since there is literally only one actual hand drill post. After alias/unalias all the wrongly-tagged power drill, I will apply hand drill tag to the sole post later.
