I think this tag should be rendered ambiguous. It has been used on random fire-making device, such as:

• alcohol burner - post #2656273 and post #223989
• backpacking stove - post #4299298
• portable stove - post #7317610
• shichirin (?) - post #5771395
• post #2439312 - looks like regular stove

post #5771395 is closer to a shichirin, loosely it's a portable brazier though unlike senshichirin they probably do not have a grill for cooking at the top. The Japanese have a similar brazier called furo (風炉) used together with the kettle called chagama to heat the water in their tea ceremonies.
