BUR #26691 has been rejected.

(Note: Flat_cap would be re-made and unlinked from newsboy_cap after alias change. See reason below.)
A cabbie hat is synonymous with a flat cap (source), but the flat cap already has its own tag on the booru. So there's two tags that have the same meaning.
Not only that, but the booru's definition of the cabbie hat is erroneous because it describes a newsboy cap, which is a different hat style.
There's also another problem: A majority of posts in the flat cap tag depicts newsboy caps too.

Instead, most 'flat cap' tags look like this: post #7597338 (along with a couple dozen baseball caps)
That secondary problem is why I added two requests. I'm suggesting that, by default, the cabbie hat AND flat cap tags are placed into the 'newsboy cap' tag. Afterwards, the 'flat cap' tag can be unlinked from the new alias, and wrongly-tagged 'flat cap' posts can be added back in accordingly. This would mitigate future incorrect tagging.
