Looks like someone went and scrubbed a lot of the character wiki pages of their descriptions. Did I miss a memo or is this vandalism?

Look at the history of Curren Chan for an example. Doragonn removed most of the useless fluff from the article.
I do agree that the Uma character wikis need a serious rewrite, but I don't think this was ever discussed beforehand.
Pinging @Doragonn
It's been brought up a few times that the Uma wikis had all kinds of problems. Excessive unnecessary information, pointless spoiler marking, ect. We tried to discuss it, but everytime we asked the wiki creators about it we wouldn't get a response. At some point someone needed to just do it, though not a complete wipe like this.
Generally speaking, wikis should only include information relevant to identifying and tagging the characters. A lot of those wikis had extensive background information that isn't really useful for this. The ability to include embedded images in wikis also makes a lot of the character outfit descriptions redundant.
That said, I would've kept the voice actor information since it can be used to identify posts showing a voice actor connection. Some of the racehorse and relationship information could also be of some use, but it adds quite a bit of bulk to the wikis and would mostly apply to adding to pools, not tagging, so I'm not sure whether those should be kept or not.
I think the Curren Chan example is a bit overkill; the first paragraph with information about her basic personality could've been kept. A brief one- or two-sentence paragraph won't bloat the wiki and can still help with identifying characters. We can keep the wikis focused on taggable information without being overly clinical about it.
The histories of each wiki is still preserved, so if any information that should've been kept was removed, we can add it back in without the fluff.

I would keep the physical description bits, personally. Unless you can guarantee that every single example image is fully tagged and 100% accurate with every applicable tag, and even in such a case, a list of the most commonly relevant tags is still useful as a quick guide if you aren't sure which tags to use, rather than needing to open another post (potentially multiple) or ask in the forums for an answer that may take a while to surface.
I would honestly argue that's more generally useful than personality information.

From her wiki, I believe only these helping users to know her without make it too much
She's a horse girl with short light brown or grey hair, purple eyes. She wears black ear covers and a hairband along with a red ear ribbon around her left ear.
Curren Chan is the self-proclaimed cutie of Tracen Academy, although she tends to be portrayed to be more guileful with her cuteness than she really does..
She call her Trainer as "Onii-chan/Onee-chan", making her part of the "little sister" club with Rice Shower.
First one helping us to know about her appearance, second one explain her personality that show in posts. And the last part explain her relationship, which make users understand why artist draw them together.
