Getting rid of needlessly vauge "Clothes" tags

BUR #26444 has been rejected.

deprecate diagonal-striped_clothes
deprecate vertical-striped_clothes
deprecate horizontal-striped_clothes
deprecate striped_clothes
deprecate gradient_clothes

Both of these tags are covered by more specific article of clothing tags diagonal-striped_bow, gradient_ribbon, ect.

I don't see a reason to have a broad ambiguous grouping tag when we don't do the same for other patterns. If you disagree please see forum #281344 to make gradient_clothes a proper umbrella tag.

Again, everyone if this doesn't gel with you please see World Funerals BUR if the tags must exists they should have our *_gradient tags implied to it, but I think following the example of tags like black clothes deprecation there isn't much point in searching for "Clothes"

remove implication diagonal-striped_clothes -> striped_clothes
remove implication striped_pantyhose -> striped_clothes
remove implication striped_footwear -> striped_clothes
remove implication striped_thighhighs -> striped_clothes

If only BUR #26444 got approved soon (I hope so). I think the implication should be removed since those are technically accessories. Not clothes, which generally refer to the top and bottomwear.

Also, I consider plaid striped_* intuitively refers to the horizontal-striped ones, as the default variant.

I agree that an umbrella tag for neckties and pants makes no sense, but striped_clothes has 214k posts. A deprecation is not going to cut it by itself. You're also trying to tackle different tags at the same time. How do we tag someone wearing entirely gradient or striped clothing? We don't have tags for that kind of overall theme right now.
