Question about paid rewards

If you happen to commission an artwork and the artist provides you all variations directly but some variations are not made public and available through their fanbox, is it still considered a paid reward. Or can you do a commissioner upload in this case?

According to topic #25777, yes you are allowed to do this. Just remember to tag it commissioner upload and NOT tag it paid reward.

Although this gets me thinking, has there been an instance where this got abused and someone deliberately posted a paid reward while claiming it was them who commissioned it?

No idea if anyone ever abused that, I assume most people are acting in good faith unless shown otherwise.
