rename chalk_(medium) -> chalkboard_(medium)
create implication chalkboard_(medium) -> unconventional_mediaChalk is a traditional art tool but all of the examples currently in chalk (medium) are chalk on blackboard which is certainly an unconventional medium. I propose renaming the tag to distinguish chalkboard drawings from pastels and other traditional media.
post #58086 is not a chalkboard, unless you consider a random street to be a blackboard.

Didn't see that but I we could have a sidewalk chalk tag for that.
EDIT: I hit submit too early. That image also doesn't qualify for chalk (medium) as it seems to be a highly distorted photograph and not actually artwork made with chalk.

Usually these kinds of photos are chalk drawings drawn to work from a specific perspective, so there should be chalk involved.

Right, it's a photograph of somebody drawing with chalk. In which case, it would be photo (medium) + chalk and not chalk (medium) right? In the same vein as post #7561084.
It's so lowres that I'm struggling to actually understand the situation.

I'd personally say both, but I could be wrong. A photo of a graphite drawning is still graphite_(medium), so a photo of chalk is still chalk_(medium), even though not the entire picture is that medium. Honestly this kind of ties ino a problem I have with photo_(medium), which is that apparently it should be applied when the post is a photo of a different medium, which just seems redundant.
Just remembered we have videogame medium tags like swapnote (medium) and roblox (medium). Would those fall under unconventional media?.

I don't think so. Unconventional media is mainly for art that isn't drawings or 3D modeling, such as sculptures, papercraft, homemade figurines or plushies, and Lego creations for example. The works under tags lie swapnote (medium), roblox (medium), and flipnote studio (medium) are still digital illustrations, just created in unexpected programs

create implication minecraft_(medium) -> unconventional_media
create implication calculator_(medium) -> unconventional_media
create implication perler_beads_(medium) -> unconventional_media
create implication wood_carving_(medium) -> unconventional_media
create implication felt_(medium) -> unconventional_media
I believe these would belong here?
There's also cardboard (medium) and masking tape (medium) which I'm not sure about.
The first two are technically digital but I feel like fall more into this camp than something like Swapnote or those Roblox drawing games do?
