I say just redo the BUR in forum #274554 and try again. Tagging in-universe porn is going to be awful for everyone, this is the best way.
I think it's a case by case basis. post #6838380 or post #7574698 shouldn't be tagged yaoi because there's no actual yaoi being shown, but on the other hand something like post #6755186 or post #3497068 should absolutely have that tag.
yaoi is not yaoi focus. It's for depictions of gay sex/relationships. In-universe depictions are still depictions.

So then following that logic post #6711750 is similarly hetero and doggystyle? Just clarifying if we tag the sex acts depicted on the covers as well. 2girls or 1girl?
I guess my assumption was that in all cases it would dilute the sex tags, but as long as we are consistent across all types of sex acts I don't mind.

Do you see yaoi going on in the picture? Then tag it yaoi. It's that simple.

At best this is going to be one post every ten thousand, dilution is not a problem here.

Depictions of characters on objects (pillow, poster, dakimakura, computer screen, painting, fumo, ...) aren't included in the character count, unless they play an active role or are the main focus of an image. I don't see a reason to change this because this would completely screw over searchability and require a massive cleanup.
