Unifiying the "DigiFake" and "OriDigi" terms.

The Japanese Digimon Community call Original Digimon "OriDigi".

The Western Digimon Community call Original Digimon "DigiFake".

I recommend merging these two only to "OriDigi".

The term "OriDigi" is officially used by Bandai since 1997, this name is used to refer to the Digimon of the contest participants.

They both seem pointless and I'd prefer them to be nuked. We nuked gen_1_pokemon for the same reason.

Even ignoring that, I don't like the implication, because these Digimon could be depicted as a doll, or as a print on the side of an object, and not as a living creature.

Can you provide any sources for this contest? Bandai rarely is reliable with official terms.

Is this comparable to that though? I don't know much about Digimon but this looks on the surface level like Fakemon, which we do have as a tag.

I took "original Digimon" to mean the first batch of Digimon introduced officially. If these terms are the Digimon equivalent to fakemon, then I don't have an issue with one of them existing.

My reason for disliking the implication still stands, however.

I'd rather see the alias reversed and the implication removed.

The term "OriDigi" is from "Original Digimon", a term that Bandai officially uses for every contest they make.
